You helped save baby Panton!

You may remember precious baby Panton, the tiny elephant calf rescued in August 2024. He was found abandoned and alone, wandering for five days. He was in desperate search of food and safety.

It’s likely he was separated from his herd during  a human-elephant conflict incident. And at just 3-4 months old, he was traumatised.

But thanks to your incredible support, the Wildlife Ambulance team was able to be there when he needed it most. Your kindness meant that Panton could receive the urgent medical care he desperately needed to survive.

He was transported to the Elephant Conservation Centre in Saree, where he was given immediate treatment, food supplements and loving care.

The Road to Recovery

The Wildlife Ambulance recently visited Panton, checking in to see his progress. And we’re happy to report– he’s doing very well!

The team provided Panton with some additional food, mineral and vitamin supplements. These will help Panton continue to grow strong and healthy.

We’re so happy he is doing so well, and cannot thank you enough. It’s thanks to you that Panton survived such a traumatic ordeal. With your unwavering support, the Wildlife Ambulance was able to rescue Panton, giving him a chance of survival.

Thank you so much for being a hero to Panton and his entire species!
